See Better

Regular eye test do more than establish your prescription for glasses, they play a vital role in early detection of eye conditions, overall health monitoring and ensuring optimal visual performance. One of the primary reasons for regular sight tests is the early detection of diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and may other that can develop slowly without noticeable symptoms in early stages.

How We Are Different

Experienced Specialist Optometrists - All Eye Examinations at Pantiles Eye Centre are performed by experienced Specialist Clinical Optometrists, experts in their field.

Named Clinician - When you book an appointment with us, you can choose your clinician of choice, thus know exactly whom you are going to see.

Ample Time - We dedicate a minimum of 45 minutes diary time to each eye examination, ensuring you will never feel rushed and allowing clinicians adequate time to perform all assessments required for Sight Testing of modern times.

Unmatched Technology - Modern healthcare demands heavy investment in diagnostic equipment and techniques. At Pantiles Eye Centre we adopted a 'best money can buy'  attitude when acquiring diagnostic equipment for our practice. Our clinicians have access to : SPECTRALIS 4D OCT, Optomap Widefield Imaging, DNEye Scanner, Topcon Maestro 2 OCT, Haag Streit Digital Bi-microscope, Humphrey VFA 830, TearLab, Blephex, ICare and GAT Tonometers, Pachymetry and many more.....

Specialist Services - Our optometrists are highly specialised and offer a wide-range of condition-specific assessments, management and treatments. Such as: Diagnosis, Management and Treatment of Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disease, Myopia Management, Fitting of Specialist Contact Lenses for Keratoconus / Irregular Cornea, Ortho-K contact lenses, Assessment and Monitoring of Chronic Age Related Conditions, Paediatric Optometric Assessments and Solutions, Monitoring of Retinal Conditions and many more.

Acute Eye Conditions and Independent Prescribing - All our clinicians are prescribers and part of the Community Ophthalmology Team. Pantiles Eye Centre is one of the chosen centres for the delivery of Acute Primary Care Ophthalmology Service (APCOS). This is an NHS-funded 'urgent eye' service that enables our clinicians to diagnose and treat acute eye conditions, majority being eye infections. N.B This service is only funded for individuals registered with a GP in Kent. We are happy to welcome 'out of area' patients, however self-funding is required.
